L.A Shoot with Sara K.

The day after Cary and Clint's wedding I had a personal shoot with Sara who is a wedding planner that I met earlier this year at a wedding we did together.  We shot in L.A and had a blast.  I love challenging myself as much as I can and so I set out to make low key B/W images and really playing with light and tone.  I was really happy with this shoot and some of the things I learned.  These are just a few of my favorites from the day.  Photographers give me your honest critique if you want!  Thank you Sara!

Cary & Clint @ Malibu

This last Tuesday I went up to Malibu to shoot Cary and Clint's beautiful wedding on the bluffs over looking the water!  Now many of you might be asking why Tuesday!  This was the exact anniversary of Clint's proposal, so this date was very important to them.  Cary being an actress loved being in front of the camera and Clint is one of the nicest guys I have met.  I thought it was so sweet how these two had a private reading of their vows to each other to the song "When you say nothing at all".  This wonderful day was put together by Stephanie Lairson.  The flowers were designed by Gilly Flowers, and the wonderful Cake was by Gigi Bob.

Emma & Randall in Newport Beach!

This last Saturday I was down in Newport to shoot Emma and Randall's wedding on this beautiful boat!  Emma and Randall are such great people and have huge hearts.  Emma is such an inspiration to live life to the fullest.  She has successfully battled cancer and radiation and all of that while finishing school and working as a ice skating coach.  I hope you both have the greatest time in Maui and love life together!

Just one last post today!  My good friend Eliesa Johnson from MN who shot Kati and Josh's wedding with won Blu Domain girl photographer of the year!  So I am posting this to say congrats and let all of you know that this girl is kicking Butt.  Rock on!

Kati & Josh CA Reception in Coto De Caza

Well, yes this is the same Josh and Kati from MN but this last Sat. they had a reception here in CA.  Jo Ann Sanderson the grooms mom really knows how to throw a party.  I wanted to make sure that I posted a ton of details so I thought I would post them this way so that you could see how great it really was.  It was nice because the whole night was just a big fun party.  The flowers were done by Megan's Garden and DJ Todd from EMM was the D.J.  The food was amazing and catered by Jay's catering.  Enjoy the fun.
