Shooting the Otsuji's!

Today I shot our pastors kid J.D!  I usually don't shoot family pics but when they gave me the green light to do what I wanted I went with it.  We shot at the anti-mall in Costa Mesa which was so much fun and had so many great locations to shoot!  I had such a blast shooting and then we went out to dinner, it is hard to have a better monday!  I promise that Sunday's wedding will up tomorrow!

Well I had the privilege to shoot with Gabriel Ryan and his wife Carly this past Saturday to begin my double header weekend!  I swear I love second and third shooting!  These are just a few of my Fav's from the day.  Lissy and Mark were very easy to shoot and I loved working with Gabriel and Carly.  Enjoy!

Karen and Andy E-session in Corona Del Mar!

Seems like I got my first blog hack, sorry about that!  Yesterday I shot Andy and Karen's E-session in Corona Del Mar.  These two are such a cute couple and were so easy to work with.  Andy owns his own company called  incipiotech which makes all kinds of cool things but very cool iphone cases that wont scratch your iphone.  These are just a few of my favorites.  Thank you Karen and Andy!

Cary and Clint's Wedding Album!

I just finished Cary and Clint's album and wanted to share it with you all!  This is a 11x14 shown as full page spreads.  I love doing pre-design because I get to tell the story with the pictures that I think best do that.  It is often so hard for couples to choose 50-75 images out of 800 for their album so I take that hard work out of it for them.  You can view the album here.

Some Leica Shots!

I have been meaning to post these for some time.  These are all shots from my Leica with a 50mm 1.4 and shot on Ilford b/w 3200 film.  I love the real grain and the lost in time feel to all these images.  I love Leica!

Rock Crawling in Utah!

On Thursday I left with my buddy Kris for Utah to do a little off road adventure!  This is the second year that I have been on this trip and it gets better every year.  It is amazing to me what these trucks can go over and through.  It takes us about three days to cover 6o miles because the whole time we are in 4 wheel low in mostly second gear.  This year I got so stoked because we had a great lightning storm that lasted for about 4 hours.  I love lightning and when I get a chance to capture it I go to any expense to get a great shot of lightning.  I would love to do a whole book of lightning some day!  Enjoy a few from the trip!
